  • What is a tax deed sale surplus?
    A tax deed sale surplus occurs when a tax deed sale for a particular property results in the final selling price being higher than the opening bid amount. The excess money is classified as the tax deed sale surplus.
  • What do I need to claim my money?
    In order to be considered for distribution of surplus funds, you must submit a notarized statement of claim with the following: Date of Sale Legal Description of Property, or Book & Page # of Recorded Deed Basis of Your Claim (as Owner/Titleholder) Amount of Surplus Name & Address of Person(s) to Receive Surplus Copies of Valid Form of ID Signed IRS W-9 Form
  • How do I get started with a claim?
    Don't worry, The Claim Guardians will provide you with all the necessary documentation and a notary to finalize your surplus funds claim.
  • How did you get my information?
    Our team at The Claim Guardians monitors government agencies all over the United States, searching for people who have not received the money they are entitled to.
  • How much does this service cost?
    Our services are essentially free, we don't get paid until you do! The Claim Guardians will only receive a percentage of the surplus funds recovered for you. If you don't get paid, we won't either.
